Winter Pansies & Dwarf Cyclamen Now Here!

Inject some colour into your garden this Winter!

Once again Ridgeway Nurseries is bursting with colour! Our home grown winter pansies are looking fantastic, lovely compact plants full of buds. Back by popular demand too are our patiolas, a cross between pansies and violas that give you the free flowering nature of violas but with much larger flowers; a sure winner for the winter! Dwarf cyclamen are also available now, perfect for your winter tubs and hanging baskets. Combine these with ornamental grasses, heathers & small shrubs and youíll have a superb display to last right through to the spring!

Many perennials at their best now!

We have some wonderful ground cover geraniums available that have been flowering since June and still look amazing. Heucheras too provide fresh Autumnal colour to your herbaceous borders, and we have several varieties available including Southern Comfort, a lovely amber coloured variety, and Electra with its striking bright yellow leaves.

For true late flowering perennials you cannot beat Anenomes, such as the white Honorine Jobert (pictured above right) or September Charm with its graceful pink flowers that move in the breeze. And of course thereís Sedums, Septemberís Plant of the Month, popular with both customers and wildlife!

So easy, so many to choose from, so much to look forward to!

When replanting your borders and tubs this time of year be sure to plant some bulbs too; it makes all the difference to your garden in the springtime. Try traditional Daffodils, tall Tulips, giant Alliums or Fritillaria for height in your borders; Snowdrops, Bluebells, Muscari or Chionodoxa in front, and Narcissus, dwarf Tulips, small Iris, or little blue flowered Scillas in your tubs. Donít forget the indoor Hyacinths for Christmas too!
